Swimwear, reef-safe sunscreen, a hat, and flip-flops. A light cover-up is handy for evenings on the beach.
Cash is handy for beach shacks and boat trips. A local SIM or eSIM keeps you connected on the coast.
Tuk-tuks are the easiest way around town. We can arrange transport to Uppuveli, Nilaveli, and the boat points.
Fresh seafood, kottu roti, and fruit shakes from the beach shacks are musts while you’re here.
Ask before snorkelling tours touch the reef, dress modestly at temples, and always tip your boat crews.
